Hey Guys! Today's video is on 7 Money Tips I Wish I Would Have Known Sooner. This video is piggybacking off of last week's video on the 7 Money Mistakes I made in my 20's, and I wanted to share more things that I wished I would have put into place much much sooner. Do you have any money tips you wish you would have known sooner?
I'm sending this to my son… there are so many gold nuggets in this! Delayed gratification is not something that most 20-somethings really understand. <3 this is just…. brilliant! Thank you for sharing.
I'm 26, I have less than good credit but it's gone up so I've been trying to get a credit card. With your help I just got the Discover It card and can't wait to start building my credit back up!
I totally agree with delaying gratification! I didnāt know how to do that when I was younger š Iām so glad Iāve learned this skill, itās helped soo much
I wish I had been a lot reckless with credit cards or knew about the ones you could do the deposits on…I'm working on changing my behaviors that got me into this mess.
This video makes me feel so good because I was 16-17 (Iām 22 this year) when I really started thinking about IRAās, budgeting, and even how I wonāt go to college if I have to take out an insane student loan. My family thought I was worrying too much since I havenāt even finished high school or had a full time job but honestly younger people NEED to start thinking and learning about money before they truly have it so that they donāt act totally reckless when they get it. If we were taught stuff like this in high school there would be a lot less 20 year olds in debt or without savings by the time theyāre 30-40
I would definitely second learning to negotiate. I wish I would have learned that sooner. But then again, in my twenties, I wasn't as confident in myself and my abilities that I feel if anyone tried to teach me negotiation skills I would not have retained any of them.
You did a video a while ago showing a Places to Go page. Which video was that? Or if you can share a screen shot of it. Iām interested in doing but not sure where to start.

If it makes you feel any better I did try to negotiate a job in my 20s and they actually retracted the offer. So itās not always a good thing!
I would say itās good to always ask the range a job pays if you can get that info
