This is 100% inaccurate. The Starbucks is owned and operated separately from the store and would have to have separate federal approval to accept SNAP annnnnnd only with that approval would the point of sale machine processor be able to program it to accept SNAP benefits. And finally, you cannot purchase prepared items such as hot or iced coffee with SNAP benefits (except for a specifc subset of the population). EBT cards are programmed to deny access to funds for those transactions.
